The Program

Hemlock Hill Show Stables offers a comprehensive full-service boarding and training hunter/jumper show program designed to provide exceptional care and individualized attention for both horse and rider. The program is structured to support every aspect of preparing horses and riders for competition through an extensive year-round show schedule. With competitions throughout New England during the summer season and in Florida during the winter circuit, Hemlock Hill provides professional training, management, and support tailored to the demands of competitive hunter/jumper showing.

Full Service Board

Full Board: $2250  

Hemlock Hill Show Stables offers full board with top-quality care, individualized attention, and a professional, supportive environment designed to keep every horse happy, healthy, and performing at its best.

Included in Full Board:

  • Lessons/rides 3x a week

  •  We make schedule for horses weekly 

  • Horses fully groomed daily 

  • Horse tacked up/cared for after lessons

  • Individual turnout 

  • Hand Walking when no turnout available 

  • Wraps, Polos, Schooling saddle pads supplied-

  • Wound care included 

  • Monthly supplies provided, shampoo, show sheen, fly spray, hoof polish, sore no more, trust moisturizer, poultice , basic med supplies, tack cleaning supplies, towels, salt licks 

  • Assisting with vet/farrier appointments 

  • Lunch - Alfalfa- pink mash- grain as needed 

  • Night check feed as needed 

  • Laundry included (outside of large blankets)

  • Clipping/mane pull needs monitored and provided as needed - additional charge

    Alice began riding at age 9 and quickly advanced through national and international levels in Eventing before shifting her focus to Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation. With a background working under top professionals—including Olympic rider Heidi White—Alice brings decades of experience in training, competition, and horse development.

    Since founding Hemlock Hill Farm in 2011, Alice has built a highly respected full-service program known for producing quality horses and confident, successful riders. She has earned top placings in Hunter Derbies, National Grand Prixs, as well as FEI 2* competitions. Her students have gone on to win at national levels, while her program continues to emphasize strong fundamentals, horsemanship, and individualized rider development. Alice is a hands-on, detail-focused trainer who creates a positive and supportive environment for both horses and riders.

    Each winter, she also leads a competitive Florida circuit, traveling to premier venues such as the Venice Equestrian Tour, Winter Equestrian Festival, WEC Ocala, and TerraNova.

  • Assistant Trainer

    Jane Morgan is a dedicated hunter/jumper trainer at Hemlock Hill Farm. She began riding at age 7 and competed extensively in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Jane earned her equine degree from Centenary University and gained professional experience working under top trainers such as David Belford, Christopher Payne, and Steve Heineke. She has traveled to major AA shows across the East Coast, including WEF, Kentucky, Capital Challenge, Tryon, and GLEF. Jane focuses on creating a positive, safe learning environment where riders of all levels can build confidence and develop their
